On February 01, 2024, JSC Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant hosted the "Factory Quality Day" following the results of 2023 and on the eve of the Year 2024 announced by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus as the Year of Quality.

Alexander Alexandrovich Rychkov, Deputy General Director for Quality, made a report.

The main issues on the functioning of the quality management system by the end of 2023 were considered, the task for 2024 was set for the implementation and transition to new Aviation Rules (AP-145 with amendment 145-1, FAP-109), the implementation of the flight safety management system, the revision (improvement) of personnel policy (personnel as the basis of quality and element of safety organizations) subject to Presidential Decree No. 1 dated January 03, 2024. The "Concept of state personnel policy" as a methodological guideline, the need to implement measures with an emphasis on improving competitiveness through careful and thoughtful attitude to resources, prioritizing qualitative indicators over quantitative ones, improving quality by stimulating initiative and forming personal responsibility.

Pavel Alexandrovich Sluchak, General Director, made a concluding speech, and all proposed measures for inclusion in the protocol of the Quality Day were supported.
