On November 21, 2022, as part of professional orientation work, students of grades 8-10 of the State Educational Institution "Gymnasium in Baran" visited the enterprise. The guys listened with enthusiasm to the story of I. I. Litovchik about the legendary military route during the Great Patriotic War from the Baltic states, the Arctic and to the Primorsky Territory in the Far East of the second aircraft repair train, later the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant. The students visited the production sites for the repair of removable and non-removable equipment of aviation equipment, workshop No. 1 for dismantling, assembling and fine-tuning aircraft. V. Chirkunov, Deputy Director General for Ideological Work and Social Issues, introduced them to the conditions of work, leisure and life of the factory workers. Training engineer of the personnel department of the plant N.F. Chaikova told the children about the benefits for young specialists at the plant and about the practice of training aviation specialists in educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus and at the enterprise. The students of the gymnasium also visited the flight test station, where they were told and shown the practical work of the specialists of the unit for conducting ground and flight tests of aircraft after they had been overhauled. The children were especially interested in visiting the cockpit and cabin of the helicopter, for which they were very grateful to the head of the LIS E.V. Shilov and all specialists of the department. As a memento, the students of the gymnasium were presented with an advertising brochure of the enterprise and a special album on vocational guidance “Profession is to give a second life to aircraft”.
