JSC "UEC - Klimov" and JSC "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant" started servicing TV3-117 / VK-2500 engines
UEC - Klimov and Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant OJSC have started the practical implementation of the agreement signed within the framework of the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia -2021 and the contract for the maintenance of the life cycle of TV3-117 / VK-2500 engines in the service center of medium repair at the production facilities of our plant, signed during the MAKS-2021 International Aerospace Salon.
When signing these important documents, ensuring the confidence of helicopter operators, primarily in the Republic of Belarus, in providing timely and operational technological support, the heads of the enterprises noted:

With the help of our colleagues from the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant, we will be able to fully cover the needs of the Republic of Belarus in the medium repair of helicopter engines and build an effective engine maintenance system that will maintain the airworthiness of the helicopter fleet, ”said Alexander Vatagin, Executive Director of UEC-Klimov JSC.

The implementation of the roadmap for the organization of a service center on the basis of our enterprise includes the determination of the technical condition of the engines, the restoration of engines using the technology of medium repair in terms of replacing damaged compressor parts, replacing / repairing the compressor turbine and the fuel manifold, as well as replacing the cover disks to ensure an increase in the overhaul resource and service life.
Medium repair will ensure the restoration of engine performance in the event of a malfunction before the specified resource is used up.
