Orshansky aircraft repair plant state unitary enterprise carries out major overhaul of military and civic airplanes: Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-24 helicopters of various modifications, Tu-134А, B airplanes, as well as repair of remove and fixed equipment, utility, aggregates and systems, measuring means and checkout gear.

       Besides major overhaul the enterprise conducts improvement of Mi-8 helicopters to ambulance, landing and other variants under documentation of the developer, painting of repairable types of helicopters and other types of air vessels, using paintwork material of domestic and foreign manufacture.

       During major overhaul the enterprise performs mandatory recourse bulletins. Industrial bulletins that don’t influence the security of aircraft exploitation are performed on terms, additionally agreed with the Customer.

During major overhaul of Mi-8 and Mi-17 of various modifications in volume and in accordance of technical documentation requirements, according to client desires additional works can be conducted:
-    re-equipment of helicopters into convertible aircraft;
-    mounting of vibration suppressor;
-    replacement of ТWZ-117MT engine by TVZ-117WМ engine;
-    testing of technical state of helicopters at the territory of the enterprise or in the Customer’s warehouses for the purpose of helicopter rehabilitation after breakdowns and crashes;
-    improvement of helicopter with external tanks of scaled-up capacity;
-    equipment of helicopter with unit of comparative with night vision spectacles AMI-8 photometric equipment;
-    mounting of АСО-2В reflector release unit; work assurance of radio station with 8,33/25 kHz frequency spectrum pitch;
-    work assurance of Baklan-20 (-5) radio station with 8,33/25 kHz frequency spectrum pitch;
-    replacement of «KARAT M24» and R-860 radio stations by «Yadro-1 A» and R-863 radio stations;
-    replacement of DP-3 А roentgenometer by IMD-1 А;
-    replacement of RIO-3 by СО-121WM;
-    replacement of RW-3 by А-037;
-    mounting of 8А81ZC meteolocator;
-    mounting of additional Baklan-20 USB-station with extended rating (118.0-136.975 MHz) and 8,33/25 kHz frequency spectrum pitch;
-    mounting of GPS satellite navigation systemу;
-    mounting of GTX 327 aircraft responder and А-350 converter.

       During major overhaul of Mi-8 and Mi-17 of various modifications in volume and in accordance of technical documentation requirements, according to client desires additional works can be conducted:
-    modernization of control system, air navigation equipment,
Global Positioning System (GPS);
-    implementation of the complex of works for helicopter overhaul-period and service life renewal;
-    replacement of TWZ-117W engines by TWZ-117WMA engines with specified in ТМ-1066BU bulletin finalizations;
-    testing of technical state of helicopters at the territory of the enterprise or in the Customer’s warehouses for the purpose of helicopter rehabilitation after breakdowns and crashes;
-    replacement of SARPP-12D1М flight data recorder system by BUR-4-1 recorder;
-    helicopter finalization for supply of around-the-clock military usage – night vision spectacles package with cabin adaptation or GOES 342 (OPS-24N) around-the-clock review- sighting system mounting is provided;
-    UPK-23-250 container mounting for enhancement of helicopter operational facilities, using GSH-23 gun;
-    mounting of 24B unit for enhancement of helicopter operational facilities, using С24 uncontrolled air missiles;
-    mounting of АСО-2В reflector release unit to increase heat arming missiles destruction security;
-     finalization of Р-862 (863) radio station with 8,33/25 kHz frequency spectrum pitch to assurance flights in IOCA system;
-    finalization for mounting on helicopter P-62, P-72 trigger for Р-60, Р-73 air controlled missiles.
